Search engine optimisation is regarded by many as a method of tricking the search engines into displaying high rankings in the SERPs. The truth is that there are companies that use SEO for nefarious purposes. However, many company utilse search engine optimisation in order to help Google better understand a website’s contents. Sometimes it is as straightforward as following a few steps outlined the Google’s webmaster guidelines. Other times it is more complicated.
